Last night rapper Q-Tip performed at the Ace Hotel in NY for one of VEVO’s Go Shows, with a surprise performance by “one of the best M.C.’S ever” Nas.
Nas recently confirmed that he is starting to work on his new, saying that it may become one of the most important projects of his career.

50 Cent along with a few other celebs attended the premiere of his new flick Gun in NYC yesterday. The film which also stars Val Kilmer, is about how a weapon goes from manufacturing to its distribution point, to being in a citizen’s custody —and how it ends up in the wrong hands. Gun is directed by Jessy Terrero.
In attendance were: Lynn Whitfield, Adrienne Bailon, and ANTM winner Jaslene Gonzalez. Check out the trailer and more pics:

Jay-Z and Kanye West dined together at Nello’s restaurant last night in NY. I wonder if they discussed Kanye’s next PR scheme.
This week Kanye has been making the media rounds, after stopping by and performing at the offices of Facebook & Twitter. Kanye also made an appearance at the offices of Rolling Stone magazine yesterday, and performed there as well.
